care especially if it is a dress with heavy hand
embroidered work.

first wash of the garment should always be
dry-cleaned.

Silk
garments should always be dry cleaned.

Always
wash separately (Cottons tend to shed slight colours
during wash, a peculiarity of cotton).

Machine
cold wash, tumble dry low.

Do not
bleach.

Use warm
iron.
-
Wash
inside-out.
-
Do not
dry in direct sunlight.

Do not
soak into strong detergent for long time.

For Silk
Salwar Suits, wash the embroidery separately
in the beginning.

Avoid
the use of chemicals - these may damage your Silk
and end up reducing its life considerably.

In case
of stains, use cold water immediately.

For hard
stains better go for dry clean.

- 1 - Cross-back (From outside end of shoulder to
shoulder along the back)
- 2 - Bust (around fullest part of bust)
- 3 - Under Bust (around just under bust)
- 4 - Upper-arm (Girth of thickest part of
upper-arm)
- 5 - Waist (around top of navel)
- 6 - Hips (around fullest part of hips)
- 7 - Height (in shoes of same height that you
expect to wear with the outfit)
- 8 - Lower Waist (measure around where waistband
of pants / skirt / bottom sits)
- 9 - Bottom Length
(for exact length of churidar / salwar - measure
from Lower Waist till ankle)
(for exact length of skirt / lehenga / petticoat /
pants - measure from Lower Waist till desired
length, while wearing shoes of correct heel
height)

measurements, so a dress listed as a size 6 will
be best suited for a body measurement of 34-26-36, the
dress itself will be larger for example 36-28-38.

- 4 - Sleeve Length (from tip of shoulder to
desired length - along outer edge of arm)
- 5 - Arm-Hole (all around top of arm)
- 6 - Sleeve Edge (all around at point where
sleeve will end) - for a loose fit add 1"
- 7 - Blouse Base (all around base of blouse -
point where blouse bottom hem will sit)
- 8 - Blouse Length (from top of collarbone down
to desired length)
- 9 - Bust Point (from top to mid-point of bust)
- 10 - Neck Depth (from point directly under ear,
diagonally across to middle of chest, to lowest
point of neckline on front)
11 - Back Neck Depth (for Low / Fancy Backs
include Neck Depth Measure for Back)
